WEDDING
Smith-Ledbetter Vows Taken in Dallas Saturday
Mr. and Mrs. W. N. Smith of Route 6, Dallas, announce the marriage of
their daughter, Miss Virginia Katherine Smith to Henry A. Ledbetter, son of Mrs.
E. E. Ledbetter of Carrollton. The double-ring ceremony was solemnized at
7 p.m., December 13, by Dr. W. W. Fowler at his home 5240 Vanderbilt, in Dallas.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Garrison attended the couple as best man and matron of honor.
The bride wore a soldier blue suit, a gardenia corsage, and maroon and white
accessories.
Those present were: Dr. and Mrs. W. W. Fowler, Mr. and Mrs. W. N. Smith, Mrs. E.
E. Ledbetter, Mrs. Majorie Lowry, Miss Barbara Ann Lowry, Mr. and Mrs. J. C.
Coleman, and Mrs. Bruce Hunter.
Mr. and Mrs. Ledbetter will make their home in Dallas. Both were graduates of
the Carrollton High School.
