MARIE LORD
Marie Lord, age 93, of Hebron, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2006, in Lewisville.
She was born January 19, 1913 in Hebron, Texas to Joseph L. and Mae Simmons
Holbert. Marie married Morris Lord who preceded her in death in 1972. She was
very active in the First Baptist Church of Hebron and Order of Eastern Star. She
is survived by her sister, Dorothy Stubbs and husband, John of Lakeside,
California; brother-in-law, John Capistran of LaMesa, California; sister-in-law,
Martha Jo Massengill of Terrell, Texas and 10 nieces and nephews. Funeral
service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2006, at First Baptist Church of
Hebron. Interment will follow in
Furneaux Cemetery in Carrollton. The family will receive friends from 6:00
to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The family request memorial
contributions made to Mercy Hospice or to the organization of donor's choice.
