OBITUARY
M. G. Lord Dies at 63
LEWISVILLE, Texas - Funeral services for Morris G. Lord, 63, of Lewisville, a
former member of the school board of the Lewisville Independent School District,
will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Lucas-Halden Funeral Chapel. Burial
will be in Furneaux Cemetery near Hebron, Denton County.
Lord died in Denton.
A native of Hebron and lifelong Denton County resident, Lord was past master of
the Lewisville Lodge 201, AF & AM and former district deputy. He also was the
past patron of the Lewisville Chapter 935, Order of Eastern Star, and past
chairman of the board of trustees the Grand Chapter of the Order of Eastern
Star. He had owned and operated a ranch near Lewisville for more than 40 years.
