DIED AT HOME OF DAUGHTER

Funeral Arrangements for J. J. McAllister Held Up Awaiting Arrival of Relatives

J. J. McAllister died last night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. M. Hudson, 3115 San Jacinto street, at the age of 83. He was born in Virginia and had lived in Dallas for fifty-three years. The funeral arrangements are being held up pending the arrival of relatives.
Mr. McAllister is survived by his wife two sons, J. E. McAllister of Dallas and T. D. McAllister of Los Angeles, and five daughters, Mrs. Hudson, Mrs. Helen Eaton and Mrs. Tolly Hutchins of Dallas, Mrs. Clara Shanklin of Millersburg, Ky., and Mrs. Fannie Grey of Phoenix, Ariz.
