Helen "Perky" McCormick, 59, of 2214 Lorraine Drive, Carrollton, Texas 75006, a native of Pontiac, Illinois, died at 5:40 p. m. Sunday June 11, 1995, at Trinity Medical Center, Carrollton, after a long illness with cancer. A private graveside service will be held at 1 p. m. Tuesday in Carrollton. A calling will be held at 10 a. m. until noon Tuesday at Metrocrest Funeral Home, 1810 N. Perry Rd., Carrollton, Texas.
Mrs. McCormick was born March 31, 1936 in Pontiac, Illinois, a daughter of Floyd and Helen (Myer) Robinson. She married Terry McCormick on the October 15 1955, at Pontiac. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother, Helen Robinson of Pontiac; 2 daughters, Terri Lynn (Chuck) Broerman of Frisco, Texas, and Jan Elizabeth (Aaron) Cottle of The Colony, Texas; 2 grandsons, Travis McCormick and T. J. Cottle; 1 granddaughter, Paige McCormick; one brother, Ronnie Robinson, Pontiac, Illinois and one sister, Carol Sue (Gary Dean) Kemp of Naples, Florida.
Her father and one sister preceded her in death.
Mrs. McCormick was a 1954 graduate of Pontiac Township High School.
The family suggests memorials be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
