Terrance Lynn "Terry" McCormick
Terrance "Terry" McCormick, 61, of Carrolton, Texas, and a native of Pontiac, died Saturday the January 29, 2000, at his residence. His funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Farmers Branch Church of Christ, Farmers Branch, Texas. Entombment will be in Hilltop Cemetery, Carrollton, Texas. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church. Metrocrest Funeral Home, Carrollton has charge of arrangements.
He was born on the 09th of December 1938 at Pontiac, the son of Clinton and Viola (Heisner) McCormick. He married Helen "Perky" Robinson the October 15, 1955 at Pontiac. She died June 11, 1995.
Survivors include two daughters, Terri Lynn (Chuch) Broerman, Frisco, Texas, Jan Elizabeth (Aaron) Cottle, The Colony, Texas; one son, Michael McCormick, Carrollton; his mother, Viola Orndorff, Pontiac; 5 grandchildren; one sister, Karen Timcke, Pontiac; 2 brothers, Danny Orndorff, Carrollton; and Harold Orndorff of California; and several nieces and nephews.
His father and stepfather preceded him in death.
Mr. McCormick worked locally at Morton Printing for almost 20 years in the 50s to the 70s in a number of capacities, including supervisor. He had served in the National Guard. He moved to Texas in 1972 in a supervisory capacity for Storm Printing, Dallas, Texas, a position he held until for over 20 years until retiring.
The family suggests memorials be made to a charity of the donor's choice in care of Metrocrest Funeral Home, 1810 N. Perry, Carrollton, Texas, 75006.
