OBITUARY
 
GLENN HAROLD MIDDLETON SR.
1930 - 2017

MIDDLETON SR., Glenn Harold Glenn Harold Middleton Sr., 86, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2017 after a courageous battle with prostate cancer. He was born in Houston, TX to Fannie Bell and Givien (Jack) Middleton on November 27, 1930. He was the youngest of three children. Glenn grew up in Corpus Christi, TX. After graduating from Corpus Christi High School in 1948, he attended 2 years of college at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX. During the Korean War, he served 4 years in the United States Air Force. It was during this time he met his future wife, Melba Dolores Broussard. Upon his discharge from the service, he and Dolores married on June 11, 1955. Their union lasted until her death in 2011. Glenn finished his degree and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering in 1959 from the University of Houston. He spent his career as a Sales Representative in the shoe manufacturing industry where he eventually owned his own company, Rodgers Sales. Glenn is preceded in death by his wife; brother, Jack Middleton and sister, Margaret Middleton Dolan. He is survived by his son, Glenn Harold Middleton Jr; daughter, Laura Middleton Case; son-in-law, Michael Case; grandsons, Brian O'Neill and his wife, Kylie and grandson, Kevin O'Neill. A Visitation will be held at Metrocrest Funeral Home - Carrollton, TX on Friday June 23, 2017 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. A Committal Service will be held at Hilltop Memorial Park - Carrollton, TX on Saturday June 24, 2017 at 9:30 am.
