OBITUARY

J. H. Morgan Sr., Carrollton, Dies

CARROLLTON, Texas, Oct. 29 - John Hamlyn Morgan Sr., 75, prominent landowner and stockman of this section, died Friday.
Born in England, he was brought to Texas when 2 years old and was reared near Hebron where he accumulated large stock raising lands during his lifetime.  He married Miss Etta Bean of Lampasas, who died last year.
He is survived by two sons, Joe Morgan and Hamlyn Morgan, both of Hebron; one daughter, Mrs. T. F. Gentry, Denton, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Carrollton Methodist Church will be conducted by the Rev. Felix Kindel, assisted by the Rev. N. W. Oliver. Burial will be at Cemetery Hill.
Pallbearers will be Horace Millican, Morris Lord, C. S. Cone Jr., William Furneaux, Irvin Crider and F. D. Holt.
