OBITUARY

Jay A. Myers, 65, native of Carrollton and 27-year veteran with the Coca-Cola Company in Dallas, died Tuesday in his home here after an illness of several months.
Myers, son of the late Carrollton pioneer, George F. Myers, was a member of the Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife; a son, Roy Myers; two daughters, Mrs. Jay Ella Noble and Mrs. Viola Ross; a sister, Mrs. Amy Squibb and five grandchildren, all of Carrollton.
Myers retired from the company in February as engineer-fireman. He first joined Coca-Cola in April, 1928.
Services were held at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the First Methodist Church, Carrollton, with the Rev. Leon Turner, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Restland Memorial Park with Rhoton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
