Former Students Killed

H. D. Ogden of Carrollton, and Evelyn Ford, Farmers Branch, were  killed in an automobile accident of Highway 77, Sunday morning, October 21, at 2:50 a.m. Miss Maurine Sutherland, of Farmers Branch, was seriously injured in the accident, but she will recover according to the doctor's statement. The faculty and students were deeply grieved because of this accident, since all of them were former students of Carrollton High School.

OBITUARY

Ogden, Hudson Davis, aged 32, passed away Sunday (October 20, 1940). Survived by one sister, Mrs. R.O. Connell of Carrollton; three brothers, Othole Ogden of Fort Worth, J.W. Ogden of Dallas, Raymond Ogden of Austin. Funeral services 2 p.m. Monday at Carrollton Christian Church, with Rev. S.E. Wilkin officiating. Pallbearers will be the members of the Carrollton Fire Department. Internment in Webb Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements with Rhoton Funeral Home, Carrollton, phone 137
