RUTH, 86, Garland, TX, passed away June 3, 1995 in Garland, TX. Mrs. Owens was born in Ovilla, TX, on September 27, 1908. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Farmers Branch. Preceded in death by grandson, Jeffrey Farrar, she is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Geneva "Gen" and Forest Farrar of Dallas; son and daughter-in-law, Robert "Bob" and Bobbie Owens, Dennis Owens, Paula Vaughan; 13 grand-grandchildren; sister, Cleo West, Farmers Branch; brother Dobe Cox, Irving. Services, 10 A.M. Wednesday, June 7, 1995, RHOTON CHAPEL, Rev. Sam Underwood and Rev. Terry Harris officiating. Interment Farmers Branch Cemetery, Farmers Branch, TX. Family will receive friends at the funeral home, Tuesday, from 7 P.M. until 9 P.M.
