OBITUARY
Kathy
was born on March 23, 1948 in Dallas, TX to Marshall
and Ruth Athene (Roberts) Dodd. On July 3, 1969 she
married Robert Quimby in Dallas, Texas. While living
in Garland, Texas, Kathy proudly served as a Special
Education teacher’s aide. She was equally proud of
her work as a stay at home mom. Kathy was a member
of Eufaula First United Methodist Church and served
there as a member of the choir. She was also a
member of Friendly Lake Eufaula Area Supporters.
Kathy’s love for the animals she cared for was
apparent to all that knew her—as was their love for
her. Above all, Kathy loved spending time with her
family and friends. During the summer months,
surrounded by her loved one on lake outings and boat
trips, her heart was filled with joy.
Survivors include: her husband, Robert, of the home;
one son, Paul Quimby and wife, Pamela, of Ponca
City, OK; two daughters: Kate Quintanilla and
husband, Michael, of Dallas, TX; Kasey Tucker and
husband, Jason, of Allen, TX; sister, Marsha Lou
Green, of Austin, TX; seven grandchildren: Madeline,
Tyler, Colby, Orianna, Jalen, Alyssa, and Ann Marie;
and one great grandson, Seth. She is preceded in
death by her parents, Marshall and Ruth Dodd. |
