OBITUARY FUNERAL SERVICES HELD TUESDAY FOR GEORGE
RASBERRY Funeral services for George Washington Rasberry were
held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Farmers Branch First Baptist Church with the
Rev. Bill J. Bell officiating. Burial was in
Farmers Branch Cemetery
with t he Rhoton Funeral Home in Charge. The Masonic Lodge
conducted graveside services. Rasberry died Monday morning in a
Dallas Hospital. He had been a County employee for 28 years and guarded
prisoners for the County road camp at the time of his death. He
was born Sept. 27, 1882, in Chilton County, Alabama, moved to Dallas
County in 19?? Surviving are his wife,
Myrtle Rasberry; a son,
Ottis Rasberry, of Dallas; two daughters, Mrs. R. D. Shehane, of
Garland, and and Mrs. Albert Wedon of Farmers Branch; and five

OBITUARY George Rasberry Rites Planned at
Farmers Branch
FARMERS BRANCH, Texas, Jan. 28. - Funeral services for George
Washington Rasberry will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Farmers Branch
Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill J. Bell officiating.
Burial will be in Farmers Branch Cemetery.
Rasberry died Monday morning in a Dallas hospital.
He had been a county employee for twenty-eight years and guarded
prisoners for the county road camp at the time of his death.
He was born Sept 27, 1882, in Chilton County, Alabama and moved to
Dallas County in 1906.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Rasberry; a son,
Ottis W. Rasberry,
of Dallas; two daughters, Mrs. R. D. Shehane, of Garland and Mrs. Albert
Weldon, of Farmers Branch; and five grandchildren.
The Masonic Lodge will conduct graveside services.
