OBITUARY

Ross, Johnnie Roland

Was born April 26, 1942, never met a stranger his entire life, and passed away March 22, 2009. A graduate of Carrollton High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1962 and proudly served in the 101st Airborne Division until 1965. A hard working man all his life, he also enjoyed fishing, golf, and building his LP record collection.  He danced a mean jitterbug and never hesitated to tell a good story or joke. He was a member of the Historical Society of Carrollton and active in the Woodlake Baptist Church.  He is survived by his wife, Debbie Ross; sons, Todd Kidwell and Greg Ross; step-son Matt Stevens; and a host of loving friends and family. Visitation is planed for Tuesday, March 24 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, TX. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, March 25 at 10am at Woodlake Baptist Church 2015 E Peters Colony Rd, Carrollton, TX
