OBITUARY
 
Elsie Maurine Sexton passed away November 8, 2023 in Farmersville, Texas at the age of 87. She was born to Elsie Elmer and Woodie Maurine (Chumley) Denison on October 31, 1936 in Plano, Texas.

Elsie graduated from Carrollton High School and married Donald Ray Sexton in Addison, Texas on June 24, 1955. She worked as a bookkeeper for State Farm, the City of Carrollton, and the City of McKinney during her career. Elsie was a wonderful woman, mother, and wife. She was funny and loved pulling jokes. Elsie was a woman of faith and set a strong example for everyone. She was a member of First McKinney. Elsie will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Steven Sexton and wife, Denise of Rosharon, Texas; daughter, Susan Collins and husband, Tom of Princeton, Texas, grandchildren, Bethany Reily and husband, James, Joshua Collins and wife, Courtney, and Deanna Wright and husband, Eric; great-grandchildren, Emma, Grayson, Archer, Whatley, Makenzie; brother, Gary Crawley and wife, Frances of Carrollton, Texas and a host of other loving family members and friends.

Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, Hal and Woodie Crawley and her husband of 68 years, Donald Ray Sexton.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 13, 2023 at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas.
