Betty Jane [Lehman] Shafer was born November 9, 1928 and passed away February 22, 2011. She was a long time member of The Heights Baptist Church.  She is survived by daughters, Kathy Shafer of Austin, Texas, and Patti Burks and husband Roger of Dallas, Texas; son, Ken Shafer and wife Jennifer, of Southlake, Texas; and grandsons, Spencer and Timothy Burks. Other survivors include brother and sister-in-law, William and Aldine Lehman of Austin, Texas and many nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be at 4:30PM Friday at Restland Memorial Park followed by a 5:00PM Memorial Service in Restland Wildwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Community Services Foundation, P.O. Box 11603, Ft. Worth, Tx 76110 in memory of Betty Shafer.
