OBITUARY

Mrs. Simmons Dies Monday

Well-Known Here; Had Lived in Addison Number of Years

Mrs. A. R. Simmons, Sr. 48, formerly of Addison and well known in the community, died Monday in a Dallas hospital. She had been in ill health for about a year and had been confined to the hospital for several months.
Mrs. Simmons had been in the grocery business in Addison for a number of years. Mr. Simmons preceded her in death in 1929. She had lived in Addison until about four years ago, when she moved to Dallas.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at Addison Baptist church. Rev. Luke Wadley was in charge, assisted by C. P. Murry of Dallas.
Mrs. Simmons is survived by one son, A. R. Simmons, Jr., a grandson, Jimmie Simmons, and two brothers, Jess Lott and Walter Lott, both of Dallas.
Interment was made at Cemetery Hill in Hebron. Pallbearers were: Walter F. Lott, Wilford Lott, John Lott, M. E. Holly, Gerald Holly, and Delbert Holly. Arrangements were made by Guardian funeral home.

SIMMONS - Mrs. Grace Lott, 2903 Grove, age 48, native Texan, resident of Dallas five years, died Monday. Survived by son Arzle R. Simmons Jr.; two brothers, W. L. and Jess Lott; one grandchild, all of Texas. Services Tuesday 3 p.m. Baptist Church, Addison, Texas.. Rev. Luke Wadley officiating. Interment Cemetery Hill, Hebron, Texas. Pallbearers; Walter F. Lott, Wilford Lott, John Lott, M. E. Holly, Gerald Holly, Delbert Holly. Arrangements Guardian Funeral Home.
