Her Husband's Obituary Ray Spinks SPINKS, RAY "BUTCH", age 55, of Highland Village, TX passed away Friday, August 13, 2004, at Medical Center of Lewisville,TX. He was born February 20, 1949 in Longview, Texas to Ray Spinks, Sr. and Neoma B. Bray Spinks. He married Gail Peacock who preceded him in death on May 16, 2000. He then married Ann Britton Sorrenson on July 16, 2002 in Corinth. Ray was a member of First Baptist Church in Corinth and was an honors member at Raytheon. He is survived by his wife Ann; daughter, Heather Cooper and her husband, Charles of Lewisville; son, Ray Spinks, III of Texas; mother, Neoma Spinks of Lake Dallas; step- children Janine Blakeborough and her husband Russ and Daniel Sorrenson; brothers, Danny Spinks and his wife Barbara of Corinth and Ronnie Spinks and his wife, Karen of Shady Shores and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2004, at First Baptist Church in Corinth. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
