OBITUARY   JUDY PAULINE SWIGER KILGORE - Services for Judy Pauline Swiger, 65, of Kilgore will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 6, 2010, at Saint Luke's United Methodist Church in Kilgore, with the Revs. Doug Wintermute and Sarwood Galaway officiating. Burial will follow in the Danville Cemetery.  Mrs. Swiger passed away Sunday, August 1, 2010 in Longview. Mrs. Swiger was born April 25, 1945 in Lewisville, Texas to the late Lynn and Faye Morriss. She was a longtime member of Saint Luke's United Methodist Church. Mrs. Swiger was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. After the birth of her first of three children, Mrs. Swiger became a devoted home maker. Judy loved the holidays and having all the family together to visit and spend time together. Her life revolved around God and her family. She will be remembered as a strong courageous, supportive and loving person. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Nelson Swiger Sr. of Kilgore; three children, Nelson Swiger Jr. and wife Shelia of Tyler, Beth Garcia and husband Joe of Longview and Lisa Whetzel and husband Chris of Little Rock Arkansas; brother, Larry Morriss and wife Ellie of Athens  ; sister Gloria Newkirk of Dallas; four grandchildren, Madison Garcia of Longview, Carly Garcia of Longview; Wesley Swiger of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Logan Whetzel of Little Rocik, Arkansas; as well as many other loving family and friends. Judy was preceded in death by her brother, Emery Morriss; sister, Rhonda Stetler; and brother-in-law, the Rev. Randy Newkirk.
