OBITUARY Miss Janie Stark
CARROLLTON, Texas - Funeral Services for Miss Janie Stark, former and
teacher and secretary to the Carrollton school superintendent and the Carrollton
School board, will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in the First Methodist Church here.
Burial in Carrollton.
Born in Fort Worth, Miss Stark was graduated from Carrollton High School
in 1924 and Texas Woman's University in 1928. In 1935 she received a
master of degree from the University of Texas.
She began teaching in Carrollton schools in 1928 and became secretary in
1945. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Survivors: A sister, Mrs. Chester W. Watson of Dallas, and two brothers,
Robert S. Stark of Garland and Marion S. Stark of Denton.
