BILL THOMPSON
Bill Thompson, son of Mrs. G. L. Thompson of Carrollton is planning on attending A & M next year.  Bill was graduated from Buffalo Gap grade school.
Friendship is the thing that Bill has enjoyed about the spirit of Carrollton High this year. Mr. C. C. Carver is the teacher that Bill feels has done more for him than any other. John McKamy is the senior that Bill figures has done the most for the school this year.
The Mesquite basket ball game - the championship game is the event that Bill enjoyed most in school.  His three best adult friends are N. F. Good, Mrs. C. G. Skinner and Miss Mary Bess Hicky, Geometry and chemistry have been Bill's favorite subjects. Tennis and basket ball are his favorite sports.
Spencer Tracy and Betty Grable are Bill's favorite movie actor and actress.
Bill is undecided as to where he wants to live his adult life.

OBITUARY
 

Bill R. Thompson
THOMPSON, BILL R., Born January 4, 1925, in Farmers Branch, TX, and passed away in Carrollton, TX on August 8, 2007. Burial will be at Perry Cemetery in Carrollton, TX on Saturday, August 11, at 10:00 am. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Rhoton Funeral Home at Highway 35 and Crosby Rd. in Carrollton. The family will receive friends after the service. Bill is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Perry Thompson, daughter and son-in-law Suzi and Russ Ferrante, daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Scott Drill, grandson and granddaughter-in-law Tony and Jennifer Ferrante, and great-granddaughter Kyla Ferrante. Bill was an insurance adjuster and private investigator in the Dallas area for many years and leaves numerous friends and business associates. He was a lifelong resident of the area and a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Carrollton. Dignity Rhoton 1511 S. I-35 @ Crosby Carrollton TX 75006
