OBITUARY

FORMER RESIDENT DIES AT HOME OF SON THURSDAY

Thomas Franklin Thompson, a former settler, passed away Thursday of last week at the home of his son Ray Thompson at Farmers Branch.
Funeral services were held from the First Christian Church at four o'clock Friday afternoon and were in charge of Rev. Felix R. Kindel. His six sons were pallbearers.
Mr. Thompson came to Carrollton prior to the 1908 flood and lived here many years. He moved to West Texas for a time and later back again. He at one time owned the D. Perry place on Belt Line Road. He was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife; six sons, Elgert of Fort Worth, Carl of Frisco; Clade, Hardley; Frankie of Crosbyton; Roy of Farmers Branch; Elmer of Carrollton and nine grandchildren.
