Viola Barfknecht, Lee Thompson Exchange Vows

Miss Viola Martha Barfknecht became the bride of Lee Roy Thompson Saturday evening at the home of the officiating minister, the Rev. C. A. Patterson, 3114 Culver. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Anna Barfknecht of Coppell and Mr. Thompson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Thompson of Royce City, Rockwall County.
The bride wore a light gray suit, and her flowers were gardenias and white carnations. Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Hott attended the couple.
Mr. and Mrs. Thompson will reside in Dallas.

VIOLA MARTHA. Born January 28, 1922 in Coppell, Texas. Passed away June 9, 1997 in Mesquite, Texas. Member of the White Rock Methodist Church. Survived by husband, Lee Roy Thompson, son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Wayne & Susan Thompson; grandchildren, Chad and Ryan and sister, Juanita Strong. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 1997 in RESTLAND ABBEY CHAPEL with Dr. Jackson officiating. Interment in Restland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, June 10, 1997 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home.
