OBITUARY

TINSLEY
Memorial services for GERALD DONALD TINSLEY, 71, will be Sunday, February 21, 2001, at United Methodist Church in Huntsville. Mr. Tinsley passed away Sunday, February 11, 2001 in Huntsville where he resided. Mr. Tinsley was born November 9, 1929, in Carrollton, Texas to A. M. and Myrtle Hunter Tinsley. He is survived by his loving wife Joy Newsom Tinsley of Huntsville, her parents, Douglas and Clementine Newsom of Ore City TX, a son, Gerald Douglas Tinsley and wife Rosanne Remmert Tinsley of Katy, TX, son, Stephen A. Tinsley and wife Mary Williams Tinsley of Victoria, TX, a daughter, Vanessa Tinsley Farnum and husband Dane Barrett Farnum of Savannah, GA. Mr. Tinsley is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandson, and a devoted friend and life-time employee, Melissa E. Khorsheed, who was like a daughter to him.  Mr. Tinsley is also survived by four brothers and two sisters. A Certified Public Accountant for his entire professional career, Mr. Tinsley was also an avid sportsman and Bar-B-Que Chef Extraordinaire. Mr. Tinsley was blessed with a generous and friendly spirit that knew no bounds. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
