OBITUARY
 
Scott Anthony Tucker
July 16, 1958 - January 15, 2015

Scott Anthony Tucker of Carrollton, Texas, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015. He was 56 years old.

Visitation is Monday, January 19, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Brooks Family Chapel in North Dallas Funeral Home.

Services will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist of Carrollton.

July 16, 1958 - January 15, 2015

Scott Anthony Tucker, age 56, of Carrollton, Texas, passed away peacefully withTucker, Scott Anthony his family by his side on January 15, 2015.  He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Catherine Dant Tucker, sons Andrew and Brandon Tucker, daughter Angela and her husband Casey Reed, their children Trevin and McKenzie, and his daughter Lauren Tucker, parents Larry and Frances Tucker, brother Mike Tucker and his wife Cheryl and sons David and his wife Kimberly, and brother Michael, brother Steven Tucker and his wife, Robbi and their son Chad, and his brother Wayne.  Scott grew up in Farmers Branch and graduated from R. L. Turner High School in 1977 where he was heavily involved with the theatre program and ROTC.  Scott was also a volunteer Firefighter/EMT for the Lake Cities Fire Department while he and Catherine lived in Lake Dallas during the early 80’s.  In 1990, they moved back to Carrollton where he went to work in electronic component sales and then into the plastics industry.  In addition, for many years he gave his time as a part of the Production Staff at First Baptist Church Carrollton and oversaw many of the technical aspects of their Annual Christmas Tree programs for many years as well as youth mission trips.  Scott loved to spend time in the Hill Country at his folks’ ranch south of Brady, Texas hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Visitation will be held at North Dallas Funeral Home located at 2710 Valley View Lane in Farmers Branch, Texas on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service on Tuesday, January 20th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the National Kidney Foundation.
