Arthur Wayne Voirin passed in peace Sunday, December 26, 2021, at the age of 72.

Wayne was born July 28, 1949, in Farmers Branch, Texas. He moved to Nacogdoches in 1968 to attend Stephen F. Austin State University where he earned a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Fine Art.

He fell in love with the piney woods and made Nacogdoches his home. He spent his time fishing, hunting down at the deer lease, and being ever-involved in the lives of his two beloved daughters. Wayne will always be remembered as a hard worker, a talented artist, a loving father, and a darn fine friend.

Wayne is survived by his two daughters Meagan Johnston and her husband Jeff, Molly Kubacak and her husband Clay; his sister Linda Lambert and her husband Charlie, and three grandchildren who were the lights of his later life, Eavrett, Shader, and Callen.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents Glen and Jean Voirin.

The family will celebrate his notable life at a later time with family and friends.
