OBITUARY

CARVER
PHILIP R. (Doc), born January 13, 1925, died August 14, 1998. Survived by wife of 53 years, Tedalu McCoy Carver; son. Philip R. Carver, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Lamya; the light of his life, grandson, Anthony; sisters and brothers-in-law, Irene and James Powell of Spring Branch, TX. Marcella and Tom Hill of Farmers Branch, TX; several nieces and nephews; one uncle; four aunts; and numerous friends. He was a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church, served 23 years in the US Navy retiring in 1965, and 15 years with the US Secret Service retiring in 1980. Memorial services will be held Monday, August 17, 1998 at 1:00 PM at Hilltop Memorial Park in Carrollton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Leukemia Society or a charity of personal choice.
