WEDDING
ANNOUNCEMENT BRIDE - Miss Tedalu McCoy, above, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Ted W. McCoy of Carrollton, became the bride of Philip R. Carver,
pharmacist's mate 1-c, USN, son of Lt. and Mrs. C. C. Carver of San Antonio. The
wedding took place May 5 at the home of the bride's parents. The Rev. C. E.
Colton officiated. P. M. Good, machinist's mate 2-c, USNR, and
Miss Marcella
McCoy, sister of the bride, were attendants. Mr. Carver recently returned after

OBITUARY
CARVER,
Tedalu M Tedalu McCoy Carver, born in the family home in Carrollton, TX
on May 27, 1926, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2019. Tedalu (what
a unique name) was the oldest daughter of Ted and Lucille McCoy. Tedalu
graduated high school from Carrollton High School in 1943, married the
love of her life, Philip R. Carver Sr. and they had a 54 year marriage
until Philip predeceased her in 1998. One child, Philip R. Carver, Jr.
was born to this marriage in 1946. She was a loving and caring wife,
mother and grandmother. She was a good and faithful Christian and tither.
She is survived by her sister, Marcella McCoy Hill; son, Philip R.
Carver, Jr.; grandson, Anthony Philip Carver; daughter in law, Lamya
Elias Carver; nephews, Tom and Ted Hill and wife, Laura and great
nieces, Whitney and Tessa Hill. A special thanks to caregiver, Nikki
Kiflom and to all the nice, caring people of VNA Hospice. |
