OBITUARY DAFFT, PAUL R.,
RMC USNR-Retired
Born 20, Feb 1928 in Carrollton to
Rev. William T. and
Lila Dafft, left to be with the Lord on January 18, 2008 in Plano. Retired Chief
Radioman USNR, vet of WWII, also retired Telegraph operator/station agent for
Cotton Belt Railroad, former General Chairman Order of Railway Telegraphers.
Survived by two daughters, Toni Davis, Kemp and Catherine Jarrett of Plano, son
Richard Dafft of Lamesa, and five grandchildren, Coly, Mallory, Baileigh, David,
and Kennedy. First wife and mother of his children Marthann Dafft of Farmers
Branch. Two sisters Frances Sanada of Rancho Mirage California,
Marie Stanley of
Plano, brother Kenneth Dafft of Farmers Branch, and very special friend Suzanne
Juliussen of Richardson. Predeceased by two brothers
James Dafft and
Don Dafft, sister
Dorothy Threadgill, son David Ashley Dafft and his second wife
Lorrain
Dafft. Family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday Jan. 20 at Rhoton
Funeral Home in Carrollton with a funeral service to be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday
Jan. 21, at Webb Chapel United Methodist Church of Farmers Branch with Interment
to follow at The Keenan Cemetery, Farmers Branch.
