OBITUARY

DAVIS
SAM L., 81 of Farmers Branch, passed away July 22, 1992 at his residence. He was born on August 29, 1910 in Rockwall County, Texas. Mr. Davis was a resident of Farmers Branch since 1922, a member of the I.O.O.F., Farmers Branch Chapter and a member of Webb Chapel United Methodist Church since 1935. Sam and Georgia Lee Reeder exchanged vows on July 7, 1931. They just celebrated 61 years of marriage. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sammie and Jim Perry, Carrollton; grandson, Joe Perry, The Colony; sister, Betty Toews, Carrollton brother, Paul Davis, Carrollton; sisters-in-law, Mary Good, Farmers Branch, Sue Crumley, Carrollton; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Thomas and Mamie Reeder, Farmers Branch; numerous nieces and nephews. Services 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 24, 1992 WEBB CHAPEL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, Reverend Joe Shafer, officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery, Dallas. Pallbearers: I. R. Mitchell, John Burns, Fred Marsh Jr., Byron Griffith, Bennie Proctor, Sky Green. If desired, memorials may be made to the Webb Chapel United Methodist Church. Family will receive friends, Thursday, 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
