OBITUARY

DAVIS, GEORGIA LEE
Davis, Georgia Reeder, 95 died Nov. 22, 2008. Georgia was the youngest child of Elizabeth and Joe Reeder. She is predeceased by her parents, and husband Sam L. Davis, , Son-in-law, James Perry and even brothers and sisters. She is survived by daughter, Sammie Perry, Grandson, Joe Perry and wife Sherry. Also surviving are nieces Carol Benefiel, Connie Young, Catherine McLeod, and Mildred Barnes. Georgia was born on Reeder Road in Dallas and lived in the area of Farmers Branch all of her life. She graduated from North Dallas High School and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Rebekah Lodge. Georgia had been a member of Webb Chapel United Methodist church in Farmers Branch for about 80 years where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir for many years. Visitation will be Monday, November 24, at Rhoton Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Joyce Cravens and Rev. Joe Schafer, will be held Tuesday November 25, at 10:00 a.m. at Webb Chapel United Methodist Church in Farmers Branch.  Pallbearers will be Jeff Williams, Scott Dill, Charles Wright, Jr., Bruce Natchke, Jon Holman and Don Walker. Honorary Pallbearers are Ed Elliott, Roy Priest and Jerry Young. The family requests that remembrances be directed to Webb Chapel United Methodist Church.
