OBITUARY
 
Paul Giles
1941 - 2010

Paul Giles, 69, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Service: Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Patrick Cathedral. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday with visitation following in Mount Olivet Chapel. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Building for the Future" fund at St. Patrick Cathedral. Paul, the youngest son of Homer A. Giles Sr. and Lydia Pearl Martin Giles, was born Feb. 18, 1941, in Bridgeport. He was employed by Charger Water Co., in Fort Worth prior to his retirement. He held the position of shelter manager of the Tarrant County Humane Society for 13 years. He left to pursue other employment avenues. A few years later he returned to the Humane Society as manager. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his only sister, Linda Sue Giles; and two brothers, Douglas and Bobby Giles. Survivors: His best friend and companion for 21 years, Lloyd M. Wester; brothers, Homer A. Giles Jr. and wife, Billye, H.L. Giles and wife, Mary Anne, Billy W. Giles and wife, Janis, Ramon Giles and wife, Jan, Walter G. Giles and wife, Pansy, Gary M. Giles and wife, Linda; his constant companions, Lady Noel and Ms. Tipper; numerous nieces and nephews; his extended Wester family; as well as many friends at St. Patrick Cathedral.
