He was Chairman of Deacons and Director of Children's Church at the First Baptist Church, Little Elm. Survived by wife, Mattie Lewis, Little Elm children, Peggy Zachary of Dallas, Jo Bell of Farmers Branch, Casey Lewis of Dallas, Linda Hyde of Oakland, CA, Tracy Lewis, Little Elm; ten grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; brothers, Kimber Lewis of Tennessee, Guy Lewis of Dallas, Billy Lewis of Dallas; sisters, Grace Offutt of Plano. Jessie Covington of McKinney, Helen Haddock of Dallas; numerous nieces & nephews. Services 11 A.M. Saturday, January 9, 1993, RHOTON CHAPEL, Rev. Bobby Blaylock officiating. Interment, Furneaux Cemetery, Carrollton, TX. Family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, from 7-9 P.M.
