OBITUARY
DONNIE JEAN FRANKLIN MYERS
Myers, Donnie Jean Franklin, 75, born October 5, 1932 in Forestburg, TX to Herman Fanklin and Willie Lou
Ford Franklin, passed away June 7, 2008 due to injuries suffered from a car
accident on May 2, 2008. She was married to Marlin Lee Myers on July 2, 1949
until his death in 1987. Survived by six children; daughter Brenda and
son-in-law Mark Palatnick; daughter Vicki and son-in-law Jim Furstenberg; son
Clint and fiance' Sherry Stansel; daughter Tina and son-in-law Van Norman;
daughter Marsha and son-in-law Dan Schmoll; daughter Stacy and son-on-law Tommy
Hague; and abundance of grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law Bobby and
Saundra Franklin along with many nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation will be at Rhoton Funeral Home, 1511 N. Stemmons Freeway (at Crosby),
Carrollton, TX on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, 6-8 PM. Funeral Service will be held
at Prestonwood Baptist Church, Faith Chapel, 6801 W. Park Blvd, Plano, TX on
Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 10:00 AM. Graveside service will be at
Perry Cemetery, Carrollton, TX
immediately following. Donations may be made in her memory to a charity of
choice.
