OBITUARY

W. W. Perry, 82, Lifelong Resident Of County, Dies

CARROLLTON, Texas - W. W. Perry, 82, a lifetime resident of the Carrollton area, died Sunday at his home.
Perry was born on a farm east of Carrollton and was a member of a pioneer Dallas County family. He moved from his farm home to Carrollton in 1910. His wife, Mrs. Mary Eula Warner Perry, who died in 1945, was also a member of a pioneer family in Carrollton.
Perry was reported to be the owner of the first automobile in Carrollton and operated the first Carrollton-to-Dallas bus line. He had been a member of the College Avenue Baptist Church in Carrollton for 61 years.
Survivors include three sons, Henry W. Perry and E. Guy Perry, both of Carrollton, and Leland Perry of Dallas; three daughters, Mrs. Emma Lee Treece, Mrs. Vera Lowrey and Mrs. Gladys Kelley, all of Carrollton; thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the College Avenue Baptist Church in Carrollton by the pastor, the Rev. Herbert O. Moore. Burial will be in Perry Cemetery in Carrollton.
Pallbearers will be Henry D. Perry, James Perry, Jack Perry, Jimmy Perry, George Kelley and John Lowrey.

Perry, Carrollton, died Sunday.  Survived by three sons, Henry and Guy Perry, Carrollton; Leland Perry, Dallas; three daughters, Mrs. Ema Lee Treece, Mrs. Vera Lowrey, Mrs. Gladys Kelley, all of Carrollton. Services were held Monday, 2:30 p.m., College Ave. Baptist Church, Rev. H. O. Moore officiating. Interment was in Perry Cemetery with Rhoton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
