Emma Lou Field Stanley of Farmers Branch passed away
Oct. 4, 1965. Born in Farmers Branch August 3, 1882 to parents, Novel & Gillie Ann
(Breedlove) Field. She is preceded in death by her parents & husband,
John Henry Stanley; son,
Albert L. “Son” Stanley; daughter,
Ressie Stanley Thompson.
Survived by daughters, Grace Stanley Welch, Dallas;
Willie “Bill” Daniel, Carrollton; sons, John Harris “Shagg” Stanley, Dallas; C.
W. “Dick” Stanley, Farmers Branch; sisters, Minch Field Anderson, Jessie Field
Saxon, Mattie Field Howell, all of Canton; Ethel Field Townsend, Paxton;
brother, Pete Field, Portales, N.M. 7 grandchildren;
Betty Stanley Dennis, Dana
Sue & Donnie Stanley, Jimmie & Danny Daniel, John & Howard Stanley; 5 great
grandchildren, Suzanne, Sherry, Linda & Kay Dennis, Angel Daniel.
Services were held at 2:30 pm, Wednesday October 6, in
the First Baptist Church in Farmers Branch with Rev. Glenn Hayden officiating.
Interment was is Farmers Branch
Cemetery with Rhoton-Weiland-Merritt Home in charge.

Branch. Survived by daughters, Mrs. Grace Welch, Dallas, Mrs. James Daniel,
Carrollton; sons, Harris Stanley, Dallas; C. W. Stanley, Farmers Branch; sister,
Mrs. Charlie Anderson, Mrs. Artis Savon, Mrs. Ellis Howell, all of Canton; Mrs.
Henry Townsend, Paxton; brother, Pete Fields, Portales, N.M.; seven
grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. Services were held at 2:30 p.m.
Wednesday, October 6, in the First Baptist Church in Farmers Branch with Rev.
Glenn Hayden officiating. Interment was in the Farmers Branch
Cemetery with
Rhoton, Weiland-Merritt Funeral Home in charge.
