OBITUARY

A L 'SON' STANLEY DIES AT FARMERS BRANCH HOME
Funeral services were held at 4 pm Thursday for A L (Son) Stanley, 45, who died of a heart attack at his home in Farmers Branch Tuesday morning. The Rev G B Bailey, pastor of the F B Baptist Church officiated & was assisted by the Rev Roy Williams.
"Son was born in Farmers Branch & made his home there. He worked for the Road & Bridge crew of Dallas County District Number 1 for past 24 years. At the time of his death he was a utility supply man acting under the purchasing department.
He was a member of the James A Smith Lodge No. 395 at Farmers Branch. He was married to Goldie Belle Johnson (May 2) 1930,(in Oklahoma). The Masons had charge at the grave.
He is survived by his wife: Goldie Belle & three daughters, Betty Lou, Dana Sue & Donelle; his Mother, Mrs Emma Stanley of F B, two brothers, John Harris Stanley of Grand Prairie, C W Stanley of F B; three sisters, Mrs Ressie Thompson of F B, Mrs Grace Welch of Dallas, Mrs. Bill Daniel of Carrollton.
Pallbearers were Roy Rasberry, Jess Willingham, B A Marcom, Marcus Morris, R L Cox & Tom Field. Honorary pallbearers were workers of Dallas County District No. 1.

OBITUARY

A. L. STANLEY DIES AT HOME
Albert L. “Son” Stanley, 45, a county & bridge employee, 17 years, died of a heart attack Tuesday at his home in Farmers Branch.
Funeral services will be held at 4 pm Thursday in the Farmers Branch Baptist Church.
Burial will be in the Farmers Branch Cemetery.
“Son” Stanley was born in Farmers Branch, Nov. 7, 1902. At the time of his death, he was utility man for District 1. He was a member of the James A. Smith Masonic Lodge.
Survivors, include his wife & 3 daughters, 3 sisters, 2 brothers & his mother ,

Survived by wife, Mrs. Goldie Belle Stanley; three daughters, Betty Lou, Dana Sue and Donelle Stanley; mother, Mrs. Emma Stanley, all of Farmers Branch; two brothers, J. H. Stanley, Grand  Prairie; C. W. Stanley, Farmers  Branch; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie  Thompson, Farmers Branch; Mrs. Grace Welch, Dallas; Mrs. Bill Daniel, Carrollton. Services Thursday, 4 p.m., from Farmers Branch  Baptist church. Rev. G. B. Bailey officiating, assisted by Rev. Roy Williams. Pallbearers: Roy Rasberry, Jess Willingham, Tom W. Fields, Marcus Morris, Raymond Cox, B. A. Marcom. Honorary pallbearers: Employees of Dallas County District No. 1. Interment Farmers Branch Cemetery. Arrangements with Rhoton Funeral, Carrollton.
