Barry Clint Stuart

Barry Clint Stuart age 64 of Carrollton, TX passed away on September 10, 2024.
Barry was born in Hamlin, TX on January 4, 1960 to Landon Earl Stuart & Joyce Ann Horton. He graduated in 1979 from Newman Smith high school and received a football scholarship to Tarleton State He then transferred to East Texas State where he received his associate’s degree in business.

As class president of the 1st graduating class 1979 of a new high school, Barry took his role very seriously in bringing all the class back together for reunions. He really appreciated the loyalty of those that wanted to meet just to reminisce!

Even in his youth Barry learned the trade as an electrician and eventually became president of Stuart Electric INC in downtown Carrollton once his father retired.

Barry was a very loyal friend to all with active interest in hunting, shooting sporting clays and enjoying meetings and trips with his friends at the Dallas Arms Collectors Association as a lifetime member.

Barry loved and had a driving force to provide a legacy for his family “The Farm”. It will continue to live on with such great memories for his kids and grandkids.

Without a doubt Barry’s greatest passion was his family, kids and grandkids, it’s what he lived for. For birthdays, holidays or any special occasion we would have big meals at papaw and grandma’s house, nothing made him happier!

Barry is preceded in death by his father Landon, Brother Bryan, grandmother Florene, grandfather Coy.

Barry is survived by his wife Cathy of 43 years, daughter Melissa with husband Austin, daughter Jennifer with husband Darrian, son Garrett with wife Kathryn. 6 grandsons Dylan 17, Jackson 8, Landon 8, Blake 6, Parker 2, Jett 1. Brother Zac with wife Janet Stuart and sister Toi with husband Nolan Warner.

Services for Barry Stuart will be on October 5th 2024 from 2-6pm.
