WEDDING ANNOUNCEMENT

Miss Doris Ford To Be Married July 14

A wedding of interest to residents of this area will be that of Miss Doris Varyne Ford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Manard Ford of Farmers Branch, to Pvt. James Clifton Taylor of Randolph Field, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gipson Taylor also of Farmers Branch.
The wedding vows will be read July 14 at the home of the officiating minister in San Antonio in the presence of members of the immediate families.
The bride will wear a dress of heavenly blue crepe with white accessories. Her corsage will be of white orchids.
Miss Ford and Pvt. Taylor both are graduates of Carrollton High School.
Mrs. H. O. Good of Farmers Branch will honor the bride-elect on Saturday. Miss Peggy Jean Perry and Miss Tedalu McCoy will entertain with a linen shower at the home of the latter's mother, Mrs. Ted McCoy on Monday of next week.

OBITUARY

Doris Taylor
July 14, 1925 - February 22, 2021

Doris Taylor went to be with The Lord on February 22. She will be remembered for her loving and caring ways, as well as her infectious laugh. Doris was a beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed life for all 95 years, and is, no doubt, raising spirits in Heaven with her laugh as this is read.

Doris is survived by her grandson, Tory Taylor, and two great-grandsons, Sam and Charlie Taylor, as well as daughter-in-law, Dorcas Taylor and several cousins.
