OBITUARY
Mrs. Charity Reeder
FARMERS BRANCH, Texas. -- Mrs. Charity Elizabeth
Reeder, 83, a pioneer resident of the Farmers Branch community, died
here Sunday.
Born in Dixon, Tenn., Mrs. Reeder came to Texas as a child in 1883. She
was married to the late Joe Harris Reeder in 1892.
A member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Rebekkah Lodge, she also
belonged to the Webb Chapel Methodist Church of Farmers Branch.
She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Addie Reynolds of Fort Worth,
Mrs. Mary Good of Farmers Branch, and Mrs. Myrtle Carroll, Mrs. Georgia
Davis and Mrs. Susie Crumley, all of Dallas; three sons, Harris Reeder
and Earl Reeder, both of Dallas, and
Thomas of Farmers Branch; a sister, Mrs. Mamie Evanos of Omaha,
Neb., and a brother, Gilliard Hanlin of DeKalb, Bowie County.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday in the Webb Chapel
Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Stinson and the Rev. B. J. Hall
officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Dallas.
